School Enlargement Project is a step closer

MEPA site notices have been put up on the boundary walls of the School in St Bartolomeo Street and St John Street notifying the general public that an application for the additions of class rooms at first floor level has been submitted to MEPA.

The development application has been passed to a case officer to assess the development proposal in terms of the Structure Plan and other established policies.

The detailed plans of the development application PA/03498/14 may be inspected by the general public at the Malta Environment and Planning Authority in Floriana.

The target date for formal decision on the development application is 08 May 2015.

The need for more classrooms has been evident in the past years as the number of students at the Għargħur Primary School has been increasing every year.
