The teachers and students wore green on October 10 to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Day.
During Wednesday’s morning assembly, the students spoke briefly about a healthy mind. They mentioned the importance of eating healthy food as a way to a healthy mind. They mentioned fruit, vegetables and a few sweets. They also mentioned the importance of daily exercise too. This discussion was followed by a Zumba class which was led by Ms Maria Mifsud. The day started off with a high positive spirit of fun, wellness and serenity.
Furthermore, Year 6.2 students had a session of relaxation with Ms Catherine, the school’s PSCD teacher. The drawings below are what the students imagined after taking them through a virtual journey.
