Earth Hour Malta

To mark this year’s Earth Hour – the Lights-Off Event – the HSBC Water Programme will be selling a number of candles against a donation of €2. This activity was very well received last year and the money collected from the sale of candles will go again towards HSBC’s Water Aid Ghana Project.

Activities to celebrate Earth Hour started in 2007. The activity consisted of a lights-off event to raise awareness about climate change. The Earth Hour Campaign has grown over the years and it engages more than 162 countries and territories worldwide. Earth Hour will be celebrated on Saturday, 28 March 2015 at 8:30 p.m. local time.
